This happens to the best of us. Something in Rl gets in the way of fulfilling one's true ambitions. Well, at this point, this is my last semester in school. All that is left for me is my internship which won't take place until after January of 2010. I hope to be interning in the courts by February of 2010 if possible. I've been away from art for such a long time now that I wonder if I can even draw anymore, lol. I'm sure that I can.

As of right now, I don't have any official plans to resume any of my projects. I'm not sure when I will be able to do so, but I do have the intention to add some new works down the line. I was rather surprised to find that people even bother to come to this old gallery anymore.

I've finally hit 10,000 page views, woot. I honestly didn't see myself ever doing it without spam faving a lot of other peoples' junk first. Don't get me wrong, some works that I see on this site are truly unique. I love to browse through other peoples' works on DA. I only fav people that I feel have major talent or are truly unique. I don't fav just in hopes that someone else will fav me back. It sounds rather selfish of me, but that is just how it goes. I'm sure if I faved more, I'd of been further up the hit ladder by now but then, it wouldn't mean as much to me either. I like knowing that all my favs and page hits are merited on the fact that my art work is liked or I'm liked.

Concerning TechenoSama:

I've still been working on revisions for TechenoSama. I don't know why I have to be so darn picky about this particular series. I could have launched the series a long time ago based off of the original works I had in mind for it. I've done more than enough comics to start posting it up by now. I'm not really sure what is holding me back from doing so. I get this sort of feeling that it may not be received well by others because of its furry nature for one. I don't much like how the series begins either. It gets really good down the line but the beginning starts off rather slow and that might kill off all my potential readers before they even get to a point that they might care.

I've decided to scrap the original beginning to the series and work on a fresh new idea that will bridge the entire thing together nicely. I think I've tried to incorporate too many ideas into this series which is weighing it down. I've had to go through the painful process of stripping it down to one general idea. That was very hard for me to do, but it is becoming so much easier to map out a good synopsis for this series. I want it to be the type of series that once you start to read it you can't stop until you reach the end. There aren't many out there like that either. Even if this shortens the duration of TechenoSama, at least it will be a quality series. My new goal is to aim for quality not quantity.

Longer is not always better, so I've broken TechenoSama up into 12 smaller scripts. Comic book wise, it will probably only be about 10 comic books long. That doesn't mean that I can't extend upon the idea later after I've gotten a good idea of its over all popularity. The series for the most part is only going to focus on Feiora. If all goes well with the first half of the series then a second won't be too far behind. I'm only going to focus on the first half for now. I will post previews and updates when I'm able to.

I've totally stopped working on animations for the series. I just simply don't have the time to do it anymore. I wanted to animate TechenoSama more than anything else, but I'm finally convinced that this is the wrong path to take. It has taken me years to come to this conclusion. It does not mean that I won't make simple animations to help the story along. I can handle a 1 minute animation or less, but I don't have plans to make anything longer than that. I'm sticking to just comics for now.

So that is all I have to say regarding my works and myself. It's good to be back again, and I hope to be around for a bit this time. Till next journal.

Cancelling All Projects Until Further Notice

Posted, Today, April 5, 2009 | 3:35pm SET:

Hey everyone, its been a while. To my friends in the deviant art job forums, thank you all for all your neat suggestions. I will get back to you as soon as possible in regards to those notes. Unfortunately, there will be very little I will be able to do to help the situation. I mentioned this earlier on, the beginning of this year, that I'm a Court Reporting student, and I have speed goals and academics that I must meet every semester in order to receive a passing grade and keep my loans a coming. As of right now, I'm canceling all projects that I've been working on. I really hate going back and forth doing all this but I have no other choice. My time is short and I only have a few months left to meet my speed goals other wise I'll be getting the boot, and I'm not going to let that happen. I'm not sure when I will be able to resume work on any of my projects again, but when I'm able to do so, you will be the first ones to know. I will still be around to comment every now and then, but it will be far more scarce. I wish all my friends that are working hard on their projects the best of luck. I know you will make me proud. I'll see ya when I see ya peeps. Later.

For anyone that is possibly interested in requesting a commission from me, please click on this link--

Commission Request: [link]

--for more information.

I'm a very reasonable hand for hire, and I'm not just limited to what you see in the forum post.

I do take special requests. Just note, email, or call me, and I'm more than positive we can work something out.

As I stated in my last journal, I'm not looking to get rich, but I do need extra funds where ever I can generate them, so I'm open to alternate arrangements if you do not find something that suits your need's within the post. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to taking those commissions ^_^

Also: I have a new page up for my photography works if your interested. It can be found here:

I state this in advance, to everyone that I promised something to, I'm no longer able to work on it in my spare time without compensation.

My court reporting career is about to take off, and I've got a bit of a stretch to make before I can begin interning. I've been putting in a lot of practice hours as of late, so lets hope that they all pay off in return.

Anyway, because of school, and the fact that I need the money as well, I'm no longer a regular free lance project artist. I'm canceling all projects, that I promised others that I'd do for them, and with good reason. I've been selling t-shirts, hats, and other things on E-bay, and I have found that my works are worth something to others.

Since I'm in need of money right now, and my time is so very limited and short, I'm only excepting request pertaining to commission works. Do not think that means I'm going to charge and arm and a leg for my works; quite the contrary actually. I plan to make my services affordable to anyone that is interested. I'm not looking to get rich off of this. Just some pocket change if at all possible.

When does this go into effect and how will it affect current projects?

As far as TechenoSama goes, this will help me to get it to the point were it becomes published. This is my ultimate goal. I want to leave TechenoSama a free project for as long as possible, but I need financial assistance to make this a reality, so the only thing to do is to try to generate a little cash through my works. Yeah I know many have tried this and only a few succeed, but I've decided to try this option as well. This isn't the best time, with the economy in dire straits right now, but I must try.

I'm putting together a pricing plan that I think anyone will find reasonable and cheap. I have a Pay Pal account already through E-bay so that is not a problem.
Some items that I place on E-Bay, I may start placing links to the auctions when they are in progress. Please understand, if things weren't so tight right now I would not be doing any of this. I know we are all feeling the crushing blow of an economic melt down, but we got to do what we can to survive and keep hope alive.

If I promised anyone anything and have not completed it I do apologize however it is officially canned. I know this isn't the best way to leave things, but I can however complete anything I've promised you as a commission if you are able to do so. I'm not asking for a lot either. If you think you might be interested then note me, email me, you know the drill and we can negotiate something that we both can benefit from.

When I have my prices together, I will begin posting them. Please don't hate me for this or hold a grudge against me. I'm doing what I feel is necessary, at this point, to ensure things bode well in the future. If you have concerns about this of suggestions then I'm a very open individual. With that said, till next post.

It's been fun guys but...

2009 is going to be a extremely busy year for me. I have to get ready to internship in the courts soon, which is going to kill a lot of my time.

I do plan on making major progress on TechenoSama this year, but much of it may not happen until this summer. I've been working on and off the project and revised numerous scripts for the series. I'm also working on a couple of collabs with a few close friends of mine that you may see around the net soon enough.

I wish I could get it off the ground faster, but I'm so darn busy right now. Believe me when I say this, court reporting takes up a lot of your spare time. I used to put a lot more effort into my works when I was on the lower end of the speed pole, but now that I'm in the advanced classes, I've got to make a serious push so that I can start making money to fund my projects.

I plan to make a serious push to get TechenoSama published by a company in Manhattan once I have the money to do it. What that means is: All of you on this site that do support me, may actually see my comic in a local supermarket one day or comic book stand or store. It's quite possible that I may even start my own comic book business later down the line after I pay back my loan's and begin to establish myself out in the court reporting field.

Anyway, that is all from me for now. When I get more done, you will be the first ones to know. Enjoy your New Year and may it be a prosperous one.
